Show Description:
The Saint Gabriel Café show airing the week of February 26th, 2024.
Monday: As we kick off our final week of February, Fr. Ty Tomson joins our Gospel reflection and helps to apply it to Lent. After that, Shane Bednarek returns to the Café with first-time guest Jayden Remias to discuss influence, social media, and living for the Gospel.
Tuesday: Dr. Marlon De La Torre continues his series with us talking about the Apostles Creed, with today’s conversation focused on the Trinity. Kevin Lowry and Kelley Henderson meet in the Café to chat with our team about true and humble leadership.
Wednesday: The conversation in the Café today focuses in on cultivating hope in the midst of a fallen world, espeically in the midst of our own suffering. Dr. Perry Cahall joins us in person and Liz Christy calls in to the discussion.
Thursday: The Café hosts a wonderful conversation on medical ethics with Dr. Ashley Fernandes and Fr. Bob Penhallurick, both apart of the local chapter of the Catholic Medical Association (find more at their website here: https://cmacbus.com/)

Tuesday: We’re joined per usual by Dr. Marlon De La Torre to begin talking about the Apostles Creed and our baptismal promises throught this Lent, and Fr. Jacques Kik returns to the Café as well to share some insights from the Maronite Rite in the Catholic Church.
Wednesday: Today we talk about service, fellowship, fraternity, charity, and more with Knights of Columbus Eric Yang and Chris Sarka – both first time guests in the Café!
Thursday: Fr. Bill Hahn and Dcn Tyler Carter stop in our Café today to share their stories of vocational journey and chat about the good and growing need we have to support vocations to the priesthood int he Diocese of Columbus. Monday: Fr. Joshua Whitfield calls in to the Café to invite us to Our Lady of Peace’s parish mission tonight and tomorrow, no RSVP needed! Jason Mays returns to the Café with his wife Lauren to share their journey together.
Tuesday: Dr. Marlon De La Torre wraps up his series on essential aspects of evangelization, and Fr. Daniel Bowen O. de M. returns to the Café to discuss confession with our team.
Wednesday: Our friends Kevin Lowry and Macy Becker kick off our Lent on Ash Wednesday to talk all about starting Lent right.
Thursday: Fr. Jacob Stinnett and Nicole Simental sit down at our table to discuss Marion apparitions, devotion, consecration, and more!
Friday: Bishop Earl K. Fernandes returns to the Café to talk about a good and growing need to support vocations in the Diocese of Columbus. Claire Dyson follows him up by introducing herself as the new president of the local Columbus chapter of YCP.

The Saint Gabriel Café show airing the week of February 5th, 2024.
Monday: Chris and Emily Mauro join the Café to reflect on how God has moved throughout their lives and share their testimonies and stories of walking with Him.
Tuesday: Continuing his series on essential aspects of evangelization, Dr. Marlon De La Torre takes his usual seat in the Café. After that, Amy Tague comes to the Café to share about Millions of Monicas, a prayer ministry starting at St. Andrew Parish. Fr. Burke Masters wraps up our show by sharing a bit of his story ahead of the Columbus Catholic Men’s Conference.
Wednesday: MaryBeth Eberhard and Lisa Ygleisas return again to the Café as we all prepare for Lent next week, sharing how they’ve done Lent through the years and talking about Lent as a family.
Thursday: The Café Team has an in house conversation today about the spaces and places we’ve encountered the Lord!
Friday: Katie Reis returns to the Café with our new friend Mary Maresch to share about mission trips they’ve taken to Cuba and Uganda to see Jesus in some of the poorest of the poor.

Monday: This week is Catholic Schools Week and Principal Jim Silcott joins from Our Lady of Peace to kick off celebrating in the Café. After that, Fr. Stash Dailey and Br. Michael Herlihey OFM Cap. sit down at our table to join us for a bit of Lectio Divina with today’s Gospel reading.
Tuesday: 3 segments today! Kicking off our Tuesday show in his regular spot, Dr. Marlon De La Torre continues a series on essential aspects of evangelization. Colleen Ray joins us next to celebrate Catholic Schools Week as a 2nd grade teacher at St. Brigid of Kildare School, and John Edwards joins the Café last to share some excitement as one of the speakers for the upcoming Columbus Catholic Men’s Conference.
Wednesday: Catholic Schools Week continues with Annie Stephas from Bishop Ready High School, who shares about her heart for the students and their relationship with God. Fr. Michael Donahue O.P. returns to the Café after that to talk about Aquinas, confession, mercy, and indulgences.
Thursday: Principal Gina Stull of St. Mary’s in German Village joins us first followed by Principal Kayla Elrich of St. Mary’s in Lancaster – both in the Café today to celebrate Catholic Schools Week with us. Following their segments, aspirantKristen Chenowith with the Dominican Sisters of the Immaculate Conception Province shares her story of conversion and discernment.
