“When you have two people in conflict whose sense of justice is getting even, or taking advantage, where are you going to end up? Just more of the same. So in my mind, anyway, the presence of the christians in the holy land is an essential piece to any kind of lasting solution to the problems and solutions over there. Anything that makes it possible for christians to live and to stay in the holy land, in the middle east, is a contribution to humanity, because its a contribution to a presence that represents a way of solving a problem.”
