Show Description:

The Saint Gabriel Café show airing the week of February 5th, 2024.

Monday: Chris and Emily Mauro join the Café to reflect on how God has moved throughout their lives and share their testimonies and stories of walking with Him.

Tuesday: Continuing his series on essential aspects of evangelization, Dr. Marlon De La Torre takes his usual seat in the Café. After that, Amy Tague comes to the Café to share about Millions of Monicas, a prayer ministry starting at St. Andrew Parish. Fr. Burke Masters wraps up our show by sharing a bit of his story ahead of the Columbus Catholic Men’s Conference.

Wednesday: MaryBeth Eberhard and Lisa Ygleisas return again to the Café as we all prepare for Lent next week, sharing how they’ve done Lent through the years and talking about Lent as a family.

Thursday: The Café Team has an in house conversation today about the spaces and places we’ve encountered the Lord!

Friday: Katie Reis returns to the Café with our new friend Mary Maresch to share about mission trips they’ve taken to Cuba and Uganda to see Jesus in some of the poorest of the poor.

Monday: This week is Catholic Schools Week and Principal Jim Silcott joins from Our Lady of Peace to kick off celebrating in the Café. After that, Fr. Stash Dailey and Br. Michael Herlihey OFM Cap. sit down at our table to join us for a bit of Lectio Divina with today’s Gospel reading.

Tuesday: 3 segments today! Kicking off our Tuesday show in his regular spot, Dr. Marlon De La Torre continues a series on essential aspects of evangelization. Colleen Ray joins us next to celebrate Catholic Schools Week as a 2nd grade teacher at St. Brigid of Kildare School, and John Edwards joins the Café last to share some excitement as one of the speakers for the upcoming Columbus Catholic Men’s Conference.

Wednesday: Catholic Schools Week continues with Annie Stephas from Bishop Ready High School, who shares about her heart for the students and their relationship with God. Fr. Michael Donahue O.P. returns to the Café after that to talk about Aquinas, confession, mercy, and indulgences.

Thursday: Principal Gina Stull of St. Mary’s in German Village joins us first followed by Principal Kayla Elrich of St. Mary’s in Lancaster – both in the Café  today to celebrate Catholic Schools Week with us. Following their segments, aspirantKristen Chenowith with the Dominican Sisters of the Immaculate Conception Province shares her story of conversion and discernment.

Monday: Mike and Peggy Hartshorn grab a coffee with our team this morning to share about their relationship through the years, the pro-life movement, and The LOVE Approach.

Tuesday: Dr. Marlon De La Torre continues his series on essential aspects of evangelization, followed by Tina Burtch and Carrie Schuchts Daunt talking about the need for healing for women and an upcoming Undone retreat at St. Francis De Sales parish in Newark put on by the JPII Healing Center.

Wednesday: Madeline Pesavento and Kathy Scanlon return to the Café together in a part 2 to their first appearance to continue the conversation on pro-life work, supporting pregnant mothers, walking with the fathers of the babies, and more.

Thursday: Urban Encounter Ministries’ very own Bryan O’Donnell makes his Café debut to share his testimony and talk about the great need for ministry in our neighborhoods.

Friday: The Visitation “sisters” Lisa Yglesias and MaryBeth Eberhard punch their coffee card again in the Café to end our week talking about rest.

Monday: Dan Boyden Jr. returns to the Café to talk about obedience as we launch this week of shows! *(Br. Michael Herlihey was unable to join the show. Our hosts mention his participation in the beginning of the episode)

Tuesday: Dr. Marlon De La Torre returns to his regular Tuesday appearance in the Saint Gabriel Café to kick off a series on the essential aspects of evangelization, and Dcn. Joe Meyer joins to share some stories of his father, forgiveness, mercy, and charity.

Wednesday: Catholic Social Services President and CEO Kelley Henderson returns to the Café with first-time guest Mark Huddy from the Office of Social Concerns in the Diocese of Columbus to talk all about Catholic Social Teaching.

Thursday: Vera Marie Callandra calls into the Café from the National Centre for Padre Pio to tell her story of healing and promote the relic coming to the Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference, and later Beth Vanderkooi stops by to talk all about the pro-life movement and the Roe Remembrance event.

Friday: No Café today – St. Gabriel Radio will be carrying the Mass with Bp. Earl K. Fernandes all the way from Washington DC and the March For Life. Big thank you to our friends at EWTN for helping to bring March For Life coverage to the whole nation!

Tuesday: FOCUS Missionaries Anne and Luke stop in the Café to talk about their ministry at The Ohio State University and what they’re taking home from SEEK 2024.

Wednesday: Aaron and Liz Christy visit the Café and share some beautiful testimonies of the ways they’ve journeyed together in their faith and the moments looking back that they’ve seen the Lord reach out to them. (Thanks for coming, Ace! wink)

Thursday: Maggie Wright and David Lach join together in the Café to discuss virtue, habits, values, and goals in this beginning of 2024.

Friday: Catholic Men’s Ministry leaders Todd Treon and Scott Muehlbauer bring some excitement about the 2024 Columbus Catholic Men’s Conference to the Café.
