03/26/19- Bishop Campbell-Weekly Reflection: Lenten preparation for Easter: the suffering, death and Resurrection of Christ. Lent prepares us for a deeper understanding of Christ’s passion and our salvation. First: Universal vocation of every Christian to live in holiness: a deep desire to do the will of God as did Jesus. He was obedient to the will of God. Second: we must “Go and declare the Gospel,” giving glory to God and witness of His love for us. Samaritan woman at the well. Responsibility to proclaim the Faith as missionaries.

He understood the deeper reality of the law because he knew how to listen. He shows us how to connect general moral precept to the actual situations that we face.
