Show Description:

The Saint Gabriel Café show airing the week of July 15th, 2024.

Monday: Oops! We had some technical difficulties with recording today’s show. In lieu of an episode though, our topic largely revolved around the same content in The Catholic Times here, with Jason Mays and Andrew Zuk from the Office of Communications in the Diocese of Columbus.

Tuesday: We continue our series on The Screwtape Letters and the Catechism with Dr. Marlon De La Torre, followed by a conversation with Mike LaMorte – author of The Saint Challenge – on St. Peter Crisci, a “fool for Christ.”

Wednesday: Fr. Nic Ventura is a priest for the Diocese of Columbus who is currently studying Sacred Liturgy in Rome – we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have him on the show! He has years of experience on the radio from some of our previous shows and gives us a lot of the update on how things are for him over in Rome!

Thursday: Our very own co-host Amanda Miller joins us live from the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis to recap yesterday’s events at the start of the Congress, followed by Michael Fry who joins us to discuss Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen and some letters the two of them exchanged.

Friday: Amanda jopins us from Indianapolis again as we continue to cover the National Eucharistic Congress through her recap (and you can catch the keynotes on our station throughout the day too!). After that, Aaron richards from Damascus Catholic Mission Campus joins us to discuss spiritual fatherhood as a dire need for today’s world.
